Typography Posters and Experiments
Role: Designer
Project:
Type Experiments is an ongoing collection of typography-driven work where I explore type as both form and message. The projects span graphic and layout design, protest and activism signage, web graphics, rave posters, and editorial pieces, including Cake Zine—a playful publication centered on cake and the history behind it. Across these experiments, I use typography as a primary tool for expression, pushing scale, layout, and tone to communicate ideas that range from expressive and irreverent to direct and political. The work is intentionally exploratory, allowing space for experimentation while remaining grounded in clear visual structure and strong graphic impact.
Cake Zine
Cake is an experimental zine created during the pandemic that examines the historical and cultural significance of cake as an object tied to indulgence. Long associated with celebration and ceremony, cake has evolved into a widely recognized cultural symbol, making it a familiar yet compelling subject for visual exploration. Its layered construction and decorative surfaces lend themselves naturally to drawing, design, and collage. Through surreal imagery and narrative moments, the project reimagines cake as an enduring art icon.
